Shipping policy
Shipping for Carbon Furniture, Planters and Fire Pits:
We offer free shipping to all 48 contiguous states. You will be notified by our team as soon as your order leaves our shop. Items are typically in transit for 5 to 15 business days. Once the shipment arrives at the shipping terminal nearest to your home, you will be contacted by the freight company to schedule a delivery window. The delivery date and window can vary depending on individual shipping locations and freight company availability to your location. Please be prepared if the initial delivery date is declined or if you request a rescheduled date, the next available delivery date may be between 2-3 weeks from the original proposed delivery date.
The delivery company will give you a call at least a day in advance with your delivery date and window for when you can expect their team to arrive at your home. The third-party delivery team will also give you a call when they're about 30 mins out to let you know they're on their way. If you are not home at the time you scheduled for your delivery, additional delivery charges will apply for redelivery. Delivery time windows can span over several hours, so be prepared to accept your shipment at any point within the time window given. If you are not able to accept your shipment or schedule delivery within a reasonable amount of time (as defined by the freight company), the freight company may be required to charge storage fees.
Please be prepared to unpackage, inspect and sign for your shipment upon delivery. The delivery slip is a legally binding document. It is your responsibility to inspect your order thoroughly and completely for any damage BEFORE signing for the package(s). In the very rare event that your order does arrive damaged, do not refuse delivery. Please note any damage on the delivery slip before signing for your shipment. In the unlikely event that your order is damaged in transit by the third-party, Carbon will file a claim with the shipping company and work to fix the problem, at our discretion and depending on the nature and extent of the issue, but we can only do that if the damage is noted on the delivery slip before signing for the shipment. Once you sign the delivery slip, Carbon can assume no responsibility for damage found after delivery, so fully inspecting your shipment upon delivery is imperative.
Final Sale, Warranty & Shipping Damage Policy
All furniture, planters, fire pits, and related products currently offered for sale are being sold at or below cost as part of an inventory liquidation. Accordingly, all sales are final.
These products are sold as-is, with no warranty, guarantee, returns, exchanges, repairs, replacements, refunds, or credits of any kind. Carbon makes no representations regarding future performance, longevity, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We will take reasonable care to package your order for shipment. However, once an order leaves our facility, it is in the possession and control of a third-party freight carrier. As a result, Carbon is not responsible for damage, loss, delays, or other issues that occur during transit.
Customers should inspect their shipment promptly upon delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing whenever possible. In the event that shipping damage occurs, we recommend that customers file a claim directly with the freight carrier responsible for delivery. Carbon may provide reasonable documentation regarding the shipment upon request, but Carbon does not guarantee the outcome of any freight claim and is not responsible for claim decisions made by the carrier.
Carbon will not remake products, provide replacement items, supply replacement parts, or issue refunds for products damaged during transit.
Assembly, installation, and any modifications required after delivery are the sole responsibility of the customer.
It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that purchased items will fit through doorways, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and into the intended space prior to ordering. Orders cannot be canceled, returned, refused, or refunded due to access, fitment, or installation issues.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that the discounted liquidation pricing reflects these final-sale terms, the absence of warranty coverage, and the assumption of shipping-related risk by the purchaser.
Please note: Assembly is not included with delivery. Any required assembly will be the responsibility of the customer.
Items cannot be refused upon delivery if it does not fit through an entryway. It is your responsibility to ensure the item you order can fit in your home.
Shipping for Carbon Metal Wall Art:
All of our metal wall art ships free to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. Larger sizes are handled like our custom furniture and firepits, with freight delivery that includes scheduling and tracking updates.
Smaller sizes ship via a standard parcel carrier and typically arrive within a few days of leaving our facility. When your order leaves our facility, you will be provided with a tracking number to monitor your delivery.
It is your responsibility to inspect your delivery thoroughly and completely and notify Carbon of any damage within 48 hours of receipt. Carbon will file a claim with the shipping company and work to either fix the problem or replace the item, depending on the nature and extent of the issue, but we can only do that if notified of the damage within 48 hours or receipt.
